things i've learned in california

Although I've agreed with my personal consultant (that is, my pal J) that my daily word count should be no less than 500, I wrote 1000 today, on the dot, no sweat! If I do that again for the next 99 days, I will be in the ballpark. The ballpark of it's time to edit and rewrite. But still.

So I guess I've re-learned how to concentrate on the novel, and how to get a lot of work done.

I've also learned that a breakfast burrito is more than just a euphemism for morning wood!

ADDENDUM: Speaking of which, now I remember what that song in my head is, it's "Nth Degree."
